What is
connected dots project?

A tiny piece of art that reminds us we’re part of something bigger.

Each dot bracelet begins as a clay slab that is decorated with colors and textures from vintage tools, paint and techniques such as photolithography to tell a story. Then dots are cut from the slab forming a constellation of dots to be worn by people around the world.

No two dots are the same, but they are connected by a shared story and represent one small piece of a larger picture.

The Making

Clay to Connected Dot

Every slab tells a story, shares a value or illustrates a thought through a mix of colors, symbols, images or textures. Each dot is cut from one of these slabs to form a series.

A variety of tools and techniques to are used to create impressions such as drop candy rollers from the 1800s and leather tools from the 1970s as well as hand-carved patterns and found objects. Images are screen printed or placed on with photolithography methods. Colors are painted, speckled or sponged on the slab or mixed into the clay itself. They all come together to create a unique surface that tells a story or shares a thought.

Dots are hand-drilled, bisque fired, glazed and fired again. All handmade and touched multiple times throughout the process.

The Bracelet

The Dot Bracelet AVAILABLE SOON!

Handmade ceramic dot + adjustable nylon cord.
Wear it, gift it, collect from multiple series.

Dots are threaded onto colorful paracord and hand knotted with two barrel slip knots so that they are adjustable. Bracelets are meant for daily wear and don’t mind getting wet and being a part of your active life.
